This month I will begin rolling out some of the products I talked about last time. So far, the first new product has been my floral coaster set. These minimalistic coasters were inspired by the blossoming flowers of the spring season. I wanted to create something that was subtle yet playful and hope you all enjoy them. Look out for the second product drop later this month (Hint: 🧵 Small in size, full of style… this upcoming piece is equal parts charm and function. 🌟 Any guesses? )
Additionally, I have already resumed my NFL Tapestry series. Head over to the Patterns section for those charts if you're interested. I will be sharing my progress soon on my socials, so stay tuned for that. While you're looking through my patterns, remember I also started releasing free tapestry pattern charts every Friday on Pinterest. This series specifically is an homage to some of my favorite albums/covers. So if you have the time (and yarn) consider this a challenge.
If you ever have ideas you would like to see in terms of products and designs, there is a feedback survey where you can leave those suggestions.
I know no better way to describe Hobby Lobby's Crafter's Secret Big Idea Yarn than as a dark horse. It hits all the marks but I wouldn't be surprised if you accidentally skipped over it while shopping. Perhaps it's due to the understated look of each skein. Even so make no mistake if you're looking for..
Variety of Colors
Minimal Pilling
Sturdy yet Soft feel
then this is the yarn for you.
A while ago I was looking for crochet home goods to make for around the house and stumbled upon this pattern for a Wall Hanging Organizer. It is free but if you want to support the designer or enjoy an ad free experience, a paid version is also available. I like the inclusion of several progress photos which help ensure I'm on track. The best part is that the end result is a cute and useful product.
Depending on how far you are into your crafting journey you may or may not already have this tool. I can remember so many instances where I started making something only to realize that the tape measure listed in the 'Materials' section was less of an optional thing and more like strongly suggested.
Tool: Soft Retractable Tape Measure
This was one of my more impromptu projects but I surprisingly really enjoyed the outcome. It is definitely more on the 'trust the process' side of things 😓. As you can see I turned this tapestry into a makeshift Holder for my hair accessories and jewelry. Three cheers for functional art !😀📣
