Lounge Top Concept Guide

Materials

• 4.5mm crochet hook 

• Scissors/ Yarn Snips 

• Tapestry Needle

• Stitch Markers

Yarn 

• 1 skein Color A

• 1 skein Color B

• 1 skein Color C

• 1 skein Color D (MC)

OR 

• 1 Jumbo skein of 1 Color (We will call it Color D) 

Notes

• * indicates the beginning of the color pattern which will repeat until you see another *

• As this is customizable, I recommend trying the top on after each section to ensure your best fit

• Color Pattern - [insert table]

Main Body:  

Using MC FHDC the # of stitches required to fit around the fullest part of your bust, sl st to top of 1st FHDC (you are now in the round)

*R1: Using Color A hdc into each st, sl st to 1st st

R2 - R# : Repeat R2 continuing the color pattern util you reach your desired top length minus [insert amount of inches] 

Front Body:  

mark halfway on both sides of your top (these will indicate the width of the front of the top)

R1: hdc across each st from the first stitch marker to the second stitch marker 

R2: dec x 2, hdc until last 4 sts, dec x 2 , turn

R3 - R19 Repeat R2 for 16 rows

Top Back: 

 mark halfway on both sides of your top (these will indicate the width of the front of the top)

R1: hdc across each st from the first stitch marker to the second stitch marker 

R2: dec x 4, hdc until last 4 sts, dec x 4 , turn

R3 - R11 Repeat R2 for 8 rows*

Straps + Edging: 

Attach MC to "Top Back" of piece on left side

Left Strap

R1: dc into each st around the arm (rows of back top and front top), fdc your desired strap length, sl st to 1st dc 

Right Strap

Repeat "Left Strap"  steps for the right side

Edging

continuing from "Right Strap" hdc around the top of the piece and the straps
